Default Exhaust suggestions

Any suggestions of which exhaust sounds best on the 5.7?

Thats a million dollar question LOL! I started with a Flowmaster 40, loved it, but its louuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud!!!!!!!!!! I wanted more of the rumble, and throatiness, minue the excessive noise, so I moved to a Magnaflow 14", (though that is loud to some too, so you can go with a 18, 22, or even 24).....plus it wont rust out on you since it has the same material as the OEM, I think Stainless Steel.

Oh also, make sure they weld it all the way around, I had issues with this, and I had to go back, use your cell phone to video around the pipe if you have to

I just ordered an MBRP catback. I've listened to Clips online and personally though it fit my taste the best. I will update once it comes in and I get it installed.

I went with the Magnaflow 14" muffler and Magnaflow Y pipe. It's not as loud as I thought it was going to be. It does have a nice deep rumble though.

I put old school Thrush glasspacks on mine. Surprisingly, at idle and even pulling out of the driveway type acceleration they aren't much louder than the beer keg muffler I pulled off but lean into it a little and she roars deep and loud. Not all tinny and hollow sounding like the Flowmasters and Magnaflows I had tried in the past and went back to the glasspacks every time. Sorry ya'll, I'm old school. Back when I was a kid riding around in my dad's trucks or his project car that is all he ever ran... and on a 67 GTO with a 454 they sang a down right pretty song on the highway, so yeah I am hooked.
