Engine temp sensor is a possibility, or a clogged fuel filter. Get the code if you can. Rest assured its not the tranny.

Unless someone has added a fuel filter inline , your truck hasn't got a fuel filter, the pump is integral with the filter, a non serviceable item, low fuel pressure at the intake manifold port = fuel pump change. To properly gauge fuel pressure you MUST use a gauge, spraying gas from the port with a small screwdriver does not suffice as a fuel pump test, and these trucks are very sensitive to variences in pressure. I learned this as a very hard lesson. You need to stick your gauge under a wiper and go for a ride, several miles, to test fuel pressure, if you see ANY varience, a fuel pump is called for. The time and money and frustration I put myself through because I didn't do the gauge to wiper thing... STILL makes my blood boil...

Since it happens after warming up, that tells me it's a Closed Loop issue, meaning the computer is using all sensor inputs. The codes you listed indicate multi-cylinder misfire, and the 0171 means a lean air/fuel mixture has been indicated by an abnormally rich correction factor. Reads right out of the leaking intake plenum gasket playbook. Have fun.
