Default My learning curve on getting correct shocks

I think after a couple false starts I finally got the correct shocks for my 2000 Ram 1500 2wd V-8.

Even gets more complicated between 1500-2500-3500 models.

First company sent me 2002 front shocks and 2000 rear shocks for a Ram Van. They were all nice new Gabriel heavy Duty gas shocks but no fit. G63359 and G63413 did not fit my truck

Got new KYB GR2 KG344372 fronts and one KYB GR2 344365 rear from one company Friday and installed new fronts today. Now waiting on other KG344365 rear to come in from another source as first company only had one rear left in stock. Other company has 27 but price was higher so just ordered the one I need. Hope it comes tomorrow.

Wouldn't you think if 344372 fit the front of a 2000 1500 Ram that a 344373 would fit rear of same truck. No they do not they are for a later model.

Also installed new headlights and now can actually see road at night.

Next I have to drop tranny pan adjust A/T bands and replace filter. Got those parts filter and gasket after some studying differences, too.

KYB GR2 344372 fronts and KYB GR2 344365 rears are correct ones for my 2000 2WD Dodge Ram 1500.

Made 450 mile roundtrip this weekend and even my bride likes to comfy ride now.
