Sorry about the mess. I have been pretty happy with my truck. Since the dealer isnt doing much I would tell your local news station. Maybe something good will happen. You have nothing to lose so try it.

Man, this whole situation sucks!!!! I fill your anger, as I went through a little issue myself (nothing near what your going through). About a month after I got my truck last year (2010) (truck is a 2011) my radio started making this loud popping noise, it would do it when the door would open wether the truck was off or not. So to make a long long story short, I keep on them until they fixed it under the warranty. It took me 8 trips to the dealer and two different dealers to replace two front door speakers, one radio head unit and the amp (was the reason for the popping). So my advice to you... Keep at them, call a news station, threaten to report them to BBB and do it if they fail to fix your issues right, go up the ladder until your heard and helped.. Keep it up, don't quit, they owe you what you paid for....

At this point I think you may have a case for your state Attorney General's office, or whoever it is that does the lemon laws, assuming your state has them. Look it up for details, but here they have X attempts to fix problems where x = some reasonable number. After that point you have plenty of recourse. I don't know who it is if it's the dealer or the manufacturer that foots the bill or if they split it, but it's not your problem any more.

I was *this* close to calling them in on Pontiac once after 6mo of trying to fix our GP on warranty... they magically found the issue the next trip in and extended our warranty + oil changes for a year. That was actually a hard to find issue, and they were trying, but your just sounds like BS work and passing the buck. Pretty sure that counts too

Sorry to hear about your woes.
I love my Sport! There were some small issues in the beginning:
Dealer had to paint the right front fender because the door was rubbing against the fender whenever the door was opened. The paint on the fender cracked at the point of contact. Their bodyshop manager said the fender needed to be painted (and not just touched up with some touch-up paint), otherwise the paint could have allowed moisture in and then rust. I have a fish-eye on the right-rear quarter panel but I'm not getting it repainted. I can live with a small blemish. I had an intermittent squeak in my driver's seat... they finally found the problem: THERE WAS A PLASTIC GUM WRAPPER STUCK BETWEEN THE MOUNTING BRACKET AND FLOOR-BOARD!! Can you freakin' believe that?
The service tech started to write that in his report but changed it to something else. Not sure if the wrapper was actually there or if they placed it there when it went in for servicing, but the seat has never squeaked again!!
I love, love, love my truck.

My brother bought a 2011 SLT model and, boy, did he get ripped off. I paid just over CND$36,000 (before taxes, etc.) and he paid over CDN$40,000 for his truck. His truck has 1/2 the options that mine has. No performance hood, no leather-wrapped steering wheel, no touch-screen radio, no upgraded seats, no fog lights, no quad lighting, no dual-climate control, no 20" chrome-clad rims, etc.....
