Thanks guys...I've gotta admit, I was close to gettin the die cast cutter and a plasma torch and chalkin this one up to anger management!!! But a buddy of mine stopped over and we went on a hunt for penetrating....fluids!!!....and a massive sledge...NM...after the drinks at the local that is! That said, we did find a our best combination, 2 penetrating oils, wd40 and a 12lb sledge..oh and a few more cocktails!!! Finally, the wheels are off the damn truck, thank god I didn't drive and get a flat...would've been screwed then...Nonetheless, We finally got all four off...only to encounter our next issue, rear drums...(took an hour of smashing on each plus our formula..lol..) The fronts...well,they were a bit of a pain in the ass as well but are off of the truck so that's good!! What should've taken a maximum of 2 hrs...has somehow turned into 12...that said, the brakes will be the least of the issues after tomorrow morning..now on to the traction bars and bearings and gaskets and sleeves and ball joints...that's about all Ive got for now..I'm sure there ll be more to come soon!!!
Thanks ahead of time,
D

Get out your torch and heat the center hole of the wheel up, the axle end and the center hole of the wheel tolerances are so tight these days, it takes virtually no corrosion to fuse this joint. once heated, a pry bar between the drum and wheel from the back, Not a lot of tension is required, and one good slam on the tire (not the wheel) opposite where the pry bar is, will 'get er done' for ya. I personally open up the hole on the wheel on the first time I have em off, you only need remove a coupla thousandths. also, careful on alloys, they tend to leave some wheel corrosion white stuff around the axle end, which will generally leave you with a loose wheel after 50 miles or so if you don't scrape the stuff off the axle end while the wheel is off. It doesn't hurt to scrape the rust off the axle end before you try to remove your wheel, if theres any axle end exposed (doubtful, tho)

Just did my rear wheel cylinders and had the same issue on one side, including the lug issue, (thank god for the torch). Give it a few back kicks, like a donkey. Sledge didnt do it for me...

Forgot to mention, if you mix tranny fluid and acetone (nail polish remover) 50/50, it works better than any over the counter penetrating oil.
