Exclamation West KY Customs support issues

So I ordered my wheel/tire combo from them, and in doing more research the deal wasn't really that great but it wasn't terrible either. Anyway, I got the wheels/tires installed fine, see other thread, however within one day I was getting a tire pressure sensor warning. They told me to drive it around for 150mi to allow the truck computer to reset. Turns out it auto resets in 10 min, and in reality it ended up only taking a drive down the block when I got it sorted out.

It turned out that 3 out of the 4 sensors were failing and I had to pay a local shop $80 to swap my OEM ones into my new tires.

I emailed them, no response.

I kept calling but couldn't reach anyone until several days later, explained the situation and was basically like I just want to RMA these and get my money back. Was told I'd get an email shortly with a FedEx label, that was last week.

No email, so I kept calling again, still couldn't reach anyone. Finally got someone earlier this week and was told he didn't do the warranty stuff, but said he'd tell the guy who does. I still haven't heard anything.

So now it is Friday, I've been calling and can't get through and they don't appear to respond to email.

Honestly this is over $160... not a huge amount, but seriously not a good way to do business, especially these days, and especially for expensive and purely recreational products. I can't really say anything more that's bad beyond just relating my experience until this gets handled, or not.

But as it stands right now, I would recommend avoiding this vendor.

Still no response from West KY and I still can't get anyone on the phone in spite of calling and letting it ring and ring and ring.

Try from a different phone number. They may know your phone number now and may be intentionally ignoring it.

$160 is relative, it would be a big deal of money to me. I hate businesses that have horrid post sale customer service

Customer service like that sucks. It stinks that you have to deal with this but at least your story will probably help other guys avoid buying from them.

Hey that was a good idea to try another number, didn't seem to work I tried three phones but they are all coming from my area code so it may not matter. Still nothing, I've been getting ring no answer for like 3 days now. And I mean like 15 rings...

I emailed them again to see if they reply. I'm kinda pissed, but I"m still giving them the benefit of the doubt. A really stupid way to do business... so what they might get to keep my $160, but I'll end up filing a complaint with the BBB, I'll file a complaint with my credit card company which can credit me back most likely, and I'll be sure many others know my experience.

In the long run it will cost them many thousands in lost business. Now that's just stupid.

UPDATE: Got a response to an email, they said they've been swamped and are sorry, but that they will try to get to me as soon as possible. So looking good, fingers crossed. They seemed really nice and I want to like them, so I hope it pans out ok.

Well they finally sent a FedEx label (after I emailed again asking wtf) and I sent the stuff back in, but the process was so slow that by the time they got everything back they couldn't refund my card so they said they mailed a check. I only know that because I emailed them yesterday and asked WTF... so still waiting on the check. Keep in mind it has now been nearly 2 months...

More later I guess.
