I am confused as to why you would clay bar a new finish. Clay bar is a process used to remove over spray, tree sap, tar and other contaminants that adhere to the surface over time and will require you to polish the paint with a power buffer to get out the smudges and small surface scratches left behind by the clay bar, especially on a dark colored paint.
Also water does nothing to protect your interior from the UV rays of the sun.

If you wash and then clay bar your truck you are assured that you are starting with a truely "clean" surface. It doesn't make any difference if it's a new truck or not. I don't think you will have to use a buffer on your truck, however that all depends on the products you finally decide on--which polish and wax or sealant. In my opinion a good product for your interior is 303 Aerospace Protectant. Also Meguires makes an excellent leather cleaner and conditioner. Try Invisible glass on the glass--it comes either with rain x or without rain x. A great web site to look at is autogeek.net for product information. They sell professional detailer products and also explain the use of each of their products. Another web site to check out is autopia.org. It is a professional detailer site where detailers' answer questions about products and show off their work. Both of these sites will give you a wealth of information which will help you make the proper decisions about which products are best for your particular situation. Remember there is a direct correlation beween the time and effort you are willing to spend and the lasting results you will achieve.

Love the look of your rig with the Generals. What size tires are those? Also, are you running wheel spacers with the stock rims?

Tires are 35x12.50x20. Right now there is no spacers. I am getting some rubbing so I need to bring it back to the dealer and have them take a look and see if they are needed.
