I'll know Friday or so though...

HTH,

did this fix your problem? i have the same problem with my 95 1500. my heat gets warm but not hot. i even tried to put some cardboard in front of my radiator to try and make it a little hotter. i had it running at 220 deg. and its still warm.

well I looked the shaft that spins back and forth as you change the temp from cold to hot, hot to cold. It is rotating as you change the temp. I put the fan on low and got up close to the unit and could her the door ot what ever is in there hitting a stopping point at the coldest and warmest seleted temp. Seems to me the door is operating correctly.
The truck heat is warming up much better, but still seems to cool off a little when I am sitting still. I do note when it is sitting still that if I turn the fan speed down the air get hotter. I wonder if the fan on high is pulling the blend door thingy closed a little?
Non the less, until we get some COLD weather back here in Cincy I can't really tell how it is heating at a sit still.

My blend door sounds and looks to be working fine but it's still not blowing very hot air. I'll try to flush mine out soon and repost if it works or not. It's in the 80s here right now so will be hard to test it...

Good to hear yours is working better. I flushed out my heater core and mine seems to be working better so far. I just unhooked the hoses and blew it out with a water hose back and forth several times. It seems to be getting warmer now. SO, if your air blend door is working I'd suggest to anyone to remove the hoses and flush out the heater core back in both directions.
