Default MDS and transmission

I recently purchased a diablo predator for my 07 dodge 1500 hemi and I put the 87 octane tune in my truck. my question is how do you disable the MDS and are there any transmission tunes or other tunes anyone would recommend?

K&N drop in filter, 14" magnaflow exhaust.

Can't remember the exact menu order, but after selecting the tune, select modify tune and you will find the MDS info there. After you turn it off, you will have to re-install the tune.

I run the 91 tune....and absolutely love it!

I have basically the same mods & I'm running the 87 tune with the performance trans option. I left the MDS to increase mileage on the highway. If you have the extra $ run the 93 mod, I do too much highway driving to make it worth wild.

thanks for the input. I would run 93 octane, but the highest octane where I'm at is 91 octane.

That is exactly what it should say.
That means 'you' have modified the 91 tune. Turning the MDS off, is a modification to the tune, as by default, the MDS feature is 'ON'.

::edit::

Did you mean that after making the edit, you did NOT re-write the tune??
I am using the same crom, and if I forget to mod the tune before I install it, then I have to re-write the tune after I make the change. Although, the second writing seems much quicker than the original, but none the less, I have to re-write it.

I had to go back to stock for an emissions test the other day and when I put the 93 tune back on I had the damn stutter again. So, I updated to 9r13 and put the 93 on and the stutter was still there. I was laying on the couch checking the forums a bit ago and all the sudden it hit me . . . MDS!!! I forgot to go back into Modify Tune and turn off MDS. I just went back outside and modified the tune to turn off MDS and took her for a spin and she's much more better now! The Kraken is back!!! :-D
