Default popping in throttlebody

Hello - I am new to the forum. I joined because I have a problem with my 01 ram 1500 with a 5.2. After vehicle gets to temperature if you shut it off and wait approx.15 - 30 min, start the vehicle and try to accelerate it loses power and there is a popping sound in the throttlebody. The only way to accelerate is to punch pedal to the floor. Plenum gasket and plate were replaced with a hughes engine kit and it still does it - now it's starting to do it even when I first start it in the morning - i'vr gone to 89 octane gas doesn't seem to help

any advise???
