Default Bilstein 5100 adjustable shock boots

Hey guys, got my Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks for the '11 Big Horn. I wont be installing them for a couple weeks unfortunately (no time).

Anyways, I noticed there's no boot included with these shocks, and when I visit the Bilstein website and look at the shocks product info, it says boot not included. Are these ok to install without the boots, or am I supposed to purchase them from somewhere else?

Thanks for the help.

Its hit or miss with boots. Shocks certainly look better with them and they do hold out a bit of dirt and grime. Any shock boot should fit on them and there only a couple bucks

Any idea where to purchase a couple of boots online for my front 5100's?
Or are they even needed?
I heard they trap more dirt and moisture and do more bad then good.........

I would think any local parts store would have some. I ordered my girlfriends from summit cause I made the mistake of telling her she could get pink....

They recommended I not use the boots on the front shocks
So I guess I won't bother
But I believe the rears come with boots and I will be installing them sometime in January (Got to install the fronts first! )
