Default 06 POWER WAGON woes...

Well shoot, I haven't owned the truck 48 hours that I'm already wrenching on it. had to change out the yoke seal on the front diff today and just realised that the sway bar disconnect won't activate for some reason... Oh and when I wen't to the dealers, I found out the waranty expired last month. Yup, when it rains it pours here. More to come guys.

Rains is Pours is correct..................I would check with the dealer that you bought it from and surely they will at least go half on everything. Expecially if they said there was a 100 point inspection done on the thing ..........

I feel for ya man. I bought an '07 1500 a few days ago and I have to have a different shop inspect it cause "I'd be better off cause their service department is so slow it takes them forever to do anything." Pretty nice coming from the head of the used car department of the dealer huh. They are going to cut me a check for what it costs to inspect it.At least that is what he said. After everything I went through with these jerkoffs I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, here it is. The dealer gave me the ''you bought it as is'' speach and I lost it on him, using some rather creative linguistic gymnastics might I add. He kida looked flustered and asked me to wait while he got the manager. After having a glass of whiskey with the boss, oh yeah, he know's his way around us army guys, he gave me the swaybar disconnect fix and refunded the price of the seal I bought and a oil change for the time it took to do it myself. All in all I think I got what was coming to me fair and square.

...........See, that is what I thought ......... Sometimes you have to go above and beyond to get something done.
