I'll echo what the original poster stated about the brakes lacking. I guess it comes down to personal opinion, but I find a lot of pedal effort is required. I'm hoping that once I need to do front pads, a change to a different pad will help a little. I remember reading a couple car mag reviews as well - one might have been car and driver, can't remember, where they found the braking power lacking as well.

I agree with the "half pedal" comment, seems that they do pump up after the initial push. When I took mine in for some other issues, had the dealer check the brakes out. They stated there was nothing wrong with them and didn't do anything to them, but for the next few months, the pedal was much firmer. I recently drove a rental Ram, same "half pedal" push on initial braking. It stops, but I sure like a firmer pedal, better road feel.
