Default hidextra.com kit

HidExtra.com is doing a 50% off sale this week. I have wanted to do HiD's for awhile and with the new truck I figured why not with the good sale. So for the confusing part. The kits range from $30 to $150 basically. What kit would y'all recommend? I also plan on getting relays and the cancelers so flickering hopefully will not be an issue. I am planning to do fogs, lows, and high beams all 8000k.

I'm using their kit in my lows and fogs right now. Had them in my '09 and switched them to the '11 last month. I got them due to their great sale on Black Friday last year. I think I paid $35 each for the lows and fogs.

That's the short story. The long story...They were billed as plug-n-play but I would disagree. I ended up needing a relay harness and a capacitor harness to eliminate the flicker and firing issues. The fogs were OK to work with but the lows took quite a bit of trial and error. I didn't pay any extra for the capacitors or relay because I called them back and complained that they billed them as PNP. I think they normally charge $12-$20 for each of those extras.

Other than that though, they've been good bulbs. I haven't had any ballast issues like some have either. Would I go back to them? Maybe (if the price was right) since I know a little more about HID's and what makes them tick. I'm sure there are better deals out there though when you consider your time/frustration into the equation.

I plan on buying the relay and capacitor right if the bat. I just looked for the kits with the correct bulb. They don't have it under ram but the have the kits. So far I have seen that the relays and capacitors are basically needed no matter what. Some don't need them some do so I just decoded to get them and eliminate any flicker issues.

I just placed my order today for a 6-Hi mod, 6000k all around.
I went all out and bought the top tier Canbus kits for all bulbs, with slimline ballasts, relays all around and cancellers for the hi/lo's (Not sure if they're actually needed for the highs, but for $10? meh..)
Pics will be posted when it all arrives, I'll make a seperate thread with pics for the install.

Damn you Ghostr1der! Not (1) day after posting this update I seem to have lost a fog lamp for some reason! I'm sure it's due to bragging on the operation of the kit thus far to you!

Hopefully it's a bad ballast and not a bulb as I've got an extra set of ballasts (due to a shipping error from HIDeXtra) that I"m told are identical. We'll have to wait until after church to see.
