If you buy one of these, please let me know. I think I must own something you would like to buy---"such a deal I have for you!"

If you're making a ram air setup to add to your OEM box or aftermarket CAI, do you gain much ram air effect if you have the fender opening still operating. I mean, it seems like the ram air effect at speed would lose a lot with another large opening in the intake tract. Maybe still a benefit, but wouldn't a good bit of the "pressure" just go out the fender inlet?...pressure taking the path of least resistance and all.
"IF" you're worried about back flow out the fender then why not install a simple flapper valve over the fender inlet? It would allow flow from the fender but flap shut if the pressure/flow from the other inlet overcame it.

LOL!...hey, that's actually some creative thought process there. I don't know...maybe a little more complicated that I want to go and probably overthinking on my part as to the downside of the 2 different openings. The reality for the operation of my pickup probably doesn't get a big boost from a ram air intake. I think I'll just stick with the additional air inlet to boost available volume. I put the K&N filter in last evening. I would like to consider a more efficient air tube to the throttle body perhaps later, but really, how restrictive is the stocker?

Fast math - 250cfm / Hemi + {Off Idle}x2.5 /Log20(Good cup of Joe) + 24 of good beer = They can't be serious! At full boost, it will support about 2500 RPM

A 5.7L Hemi at 600RPM sucks through 60 cubic feet/min of air.
At 2500RPM - 252 cubic feet/min
At 6000 RPM - 604 cubic feet/min

And that is based on 'average' volumetric efficiency.

I'm not 100% convinced, but I believe this 'SuperCharger' might help my lawn mower.
My head hurts
