Need details. Why replace the heads? Stock or aftermarket? Is this different from how it ran before the swap?

Ok I was doing the Hughes plenum fiX and then I took my heads off cause there were a couple of broken bolts Were my exhaust manifold bolts up so while I had the heads off took them to the machine shoo and he showed me were they were cracked and so I bought some redone stock heads and the truck has a little more power than it did before I took it apart but has a real slow excelleration I mean you have to really press the pedal to go some were

Makes me wonder about vacuum since you would have to fiddle with the EGR port. 1995, right?

Have you checked compression in engine? The new heads might have brought something else out.

Just trying to get a better picture here. How, exactly, did you block the EGR?

bottom line every 5.2 ram ive driven and the one im driving now didnt have alot of bottom end exceleration. everything ive done to my truck has helped a little bottom end but the most top end.

plus your truck might have a limited slip rear end. i can barelly get mine to power break either. but mines a 98 not equiped with egr.
