I put the K&N filter in last evening. I would like to consider a more efficient air tube to the throttle body perhaps later, but really, how restrictive is the stocker?
I was thinking of a small flap of 1/8" to 1'4" thick rubber. Thin enough to bend like a hinge but thick enough to not fold on itself and get sucked into the hole.

I have never measured the ID of the stock tube. Perhaps it's 'effective' ID is about what the aftermarkets are. The ribs are what causes more turbulent flow along the walls (effectively narrowing the flow diameter). Like you though, I'm not sure if it's enough to worry about unless you're racing @ WOT all the time.

thinking about putting one of these in each tailpipe in place of the resonators, and of course, one in the airbox. Hope they work in cunjuction with my tornados.

Fast math - 250cfm / Hemi + {Off Idle}x2.5 /Log20(Good cup of Joe) + 24 of good beer = They can't be serious! At full boost, it will support about 2500 RPM

A 5.7L Hemi at 600RPM sucks through 60 cubic feet/min of air.
At 2500RPM - 252 cubic feet/min
At 6000 RPM - 604 cubic feet/min

And that is based on 'average' volumetric efficiency.

I'm not 100% convinced, but I believe this 'SuperCharger' might help my lawn mower.
Yes -

Also - all that is is a Boat engine cabin venting pump... before you start your engine you run the fresh air pump and clear the engine "room" of fumes... Believe it or not a guy came into our shop to run that on the dyno. It was a Jetta - it had ZERO effect on the dyno ZERO...

This worked way better...lol

this "supercharger" has been out on the market for a good while now. so theres gotta be a reason these things are out on the market and people are buying them in order for them to be out this long.
