Default Newbie from New Joisey

Hi all from NJ. Darn jets, giants and eagles. I can't win a bet with these teams, but I hope to win some Dodge Ram tips and knowledge here. Proud owner of a 2004 Ram 1500 hemi. Love my truck, but I'm having an minor issue with the mods and was told I may need a CAI tune. Mods include a Volant CAI and a Magnaflow S.S. cat back exhaust 24" muffler and 3" tubing. I don't have much knowledge about the code, But I do know it drew a P0137 fault code (HO2 sensor low voltage B1 S2) when my check engine light lit up. The next day no check engine light. Its been happening off and on. I have a Superchips 3815 updated tuner. Then I ran some advance dianostics with the tuner and this is what it reads, but I don't fully understand the numbers much:

This was done today under these conditions using my SC 3815 Tuner:
OUTSIDE Air Temp: 65f
Octane: 87
Tested at 45mpg: using cruise control
Check Engine Light Status: Currently Off
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Intake Man Pressure: 53 to 56 kP
Engine RPM: 1350 to 1375 rpm
Timing advance: 28.5 to 41.5 deg.
Eng temp.: 197f to 199f
Intake Air Temp: 109f to 111f
OXYGEN SENSORS
B1 S1 Voltage: .13 to .81
B1 S1 Trim: -06% to +06%
B1 S2 Voltage: .584 to .604
B1 S2 Trim: steady at 99.21%
B2 S1 Voltage: .09 to .86
B2 S1 Trim: -06% to +06%
B2 S2 Voltage: .584 to .604
B2 S2 Trim: steady at 99.21%
NGC3 SENSORS
knock SENSOR 1: .32
knock SENSOR 2: .24
knock RETARD: 0.0

See if anyone can make anything of it or provide some direction where I should turn to. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum,
This forum is full of great looking trucks; packed with great mod ideas and there are loads of knowledgeable and experienced people here.

As the diagnostics are not showing any obvious issues, check the wiring connector in the O2 sensor on the muffler side of the cat. A poor connection on this sensor could cause that code. If all looks good, replacing the sensor is a good idea. They are not expensive, and that would eliminate that as a variable. If you decide to replace it, get the OEM sensor, not the Bosch replacement. If the problem persists, you may have to trace the wiring from the sensor to see if there is a break/tear in the wiring. Failing that, you may have a bad cat.

AND - We all like pix! Got any to share?

Enjoy the Z!

Hello and welcome to the forum glad to have you join us! At least the Giants didn't take too bad a beating lol, they did make some good plays, but wasn't too long ago, people were scared to bet against me and the Saints, this year it's LSU! Sounds like a nice truck you have there, any pics you can share? We'd love to see it! Some cool mods, too and I see you're already getting some good advice so good luck! Lots of great people and info here, so any help you need, just ask and I hope you enjoy the site!

I'll post some pics under my album. long rainy days...

I picked up an oem HO2 sensor today. I'll try that first. I noticed the MIL lights up only when its real cold out or when get on the throttle from start 0-60. I think the new CAI is sucking in to much air then what the trucks stock tune can handle. Not sure yet.

Love the saints team is really really good as they progressively get better in the season. They kicked butt monday. I bet them to win a few years back in the superbowl. LSU is looking good, but I've got to follow WVU, who will be joining the big12 next year. They're leaving the Big East

T.
