Default Replacing rockers with cam swap

Anyone replace their rockers with cam swap on hemi? My buddy said it actually makes the cam larger? Anyone have a particular type of roller rocker they have used? And putting together prices on swap, seeing I need Cam, seals, springs, rods, and maybe rockers if I want. Anything else I need to look into or price?

I you use a higher ratio rocker, it increases the camshaft lift. BUT if you are replacing the cam anyway, why not get the lift you want? USUALLY higher ratio rocker arms is done with a stock cam and is considered a cheaper(though less effective) solution.
You also have to be concerned with the valve to piston clearance.

Just get the cam you want for your needs, and change the pushrods and valve springs. You will want new OEM head gaskets, new cam and crank bolt, new head bolts, and some cheap oil for initial start up, then good full synthetic after you swap out the dirty contaminated oil. What cam are you thinking of?

Just remember, the 6.1L springs and rods work and can save you some $$. The only time I'm seeing people swapping out the rockers is on the high HP LX builds where they are actually having issues with rollers wearing out and swapping to a solid rocker arm.
