Default feed back

Hey, guys. Looking for a little feed back, from people with similar
equipped trucks, as mine.

i have a 2011 1500 q.c, 4x4, hemi, with 3:92 anti- spin diff, (what window sticker calls it), and 17" wheels with goodyear at/s rubber.

with the hemi, would think (with traction control off) you should be able to smoke the tires. i cant. i get two mild tire lines about 15'. thats it.
it has 2100 miles on it.

not that i am in a hurry to replace tires, but just think with almost 390 claimed h.p it should not be a problem to bring a little tire smoke.

Quit tearing up your truck!!!

OK, The coil suspension helps with traction. The tires are made to grab the road. The hemi makes all its power in high RPM range. It is NOT supposed to spin.

Put it in 1st gear or 2nd, break torque it and get the rpm's up , do not let it shift into a higher gear b/c then the rpm's drop and so does the HP. If you must getmore..... you will have to go with a harder tire! Also, I hear the engine will open up more with more miles! I only have 1k on mine so far.

One word (I think)...... "anti-spin"

Like said, they design everything to grip, not slip. You'd have to powerbrake it to get them spinning, which is rough on the truck, especially at your mileage.

Drag cars are built with a 4 link rear suspension to reduce wheel spin..... Have you looked under your truck??? No leaf springs!!!!
