Default Some base-line track times

Took the truck to the track tonight to get some base-line idea of what she runs, relatively stock before I start the major mods to the engine this winter. Still have an open diff, 3.55s, 22" wheels w/ 265 NT420S, stock rotating assembly, and stock heads on a pre-Eagle hemi. I do have LTs, 91 oct trinity tune, CAI w/ ram air hood, ERG delete, and e-cutout.

Wasn't what I was really hoping for, but it's the no-BS answer I was looking to get. It was cold out, started at 10 deg C and ended with a track temp of 2 deg C, so it was a cold track and everyone had traction issues. Here's my times:

1/4 MPH

15.91 87.19
16.07 86.82
15.84 87.33
16.19 86.64
15.87 87.25
16.13 86.43
16.14 86.63
16.18 86.43

All the 16 sec times were launching in 4x4 to get traction. My R/T was in the 1 second range on a pro tree, and my 60ft was around 2.5 secs. I figure a LSD w/ 4.56 will help drastically with the 60ft, and the ported 6.1L intake manifold and port-matched heads will help with the top end. I also need a good tune as I'm still throwing codes from my LT install.

What elevation are you at? I think you may need a good dyno tune, your trap speeds aren't where they should be.

If you are drag racing a big heavy truck like you QC then gears should be the first thing on your list...thats an easy .5 if not more

That night the DA was 2800, but we're normally around 3000-3200, it was cold so got some denser air, but the track wasn't prep'd and it was cold so there was lots of spinning.

I know I'm in need of a proper tune, I'm just running the canned trinity 91 tune and the CEL's on due to the LTs. This was just a base line of what I'm starting as since I'm putting more into the motor/drivetrain over the winter.

This winter it's getting a set of cambered eagle heads w/ oversized exhaust valves, 150 shot plate injected, 85mm TB, custom 112lsa super spartan grind from Stu, 6.1L intake, LMI hammer intake, and a proper tune by Johan or hemifever, whichever has time in the spring. All should be in time for SpringFest

Hoping to win the magnacharger kit from demonperformance too! Like it'll ever happen, but I can hope! *fingers crossed*

Yeah, my open 3.55s are a bit of head hanger with the club, but that is on the list as well. Still debating 4.10s or 4.56. With all the noise issues the 4.56s have I'm not sure, but they sure would turn my 29.5" rubber nicely.

keep up it up brutha after you install all those mods your truck is gonna be a beast! and to take away that code you would need some foulers to trick the cm i got some ordered from the shop i take my truck to but not sure if the technical term for these are foulers. 60 bucks each had to get two for the rear o2s
