They do rub slightly on the inner fender lining when at full lock and there are some compromises in the ride quality between the wheel/tire size and suspension kit. Potholes are not my friends at all, and I have to be aware of which streets to avoid unless I want to drive them at 25 mph. Personally I wouldn't go with a taller sidewall because it would not look right, the 35 series in that width is a perfect fit between looks and comfort. I don't care for rubber band tires and surely wouldn't want then on a daily driver. The truck does not bounce around or anything but it is a stiffer ride and suspension travel is shorter.
With that being said, the ride is very good. I expected it to be much less comfortable than my previous 20s with 275/45R20 tires and it is almost the same.
I drove my friend's 09 Ram which has the stock 20s and his seems to have a tighter turning radius than mine, if only by a little. I am curious if this is due to my wheels, suspension or if its just in my head? Anyone have an opinion on that?
