Default 1998 left turn signal starts wiper motor

When I turn the left turn signal on, or the emergancy flashers on, the wiper motor comes on low speed. I have tried new multifunction switch and a new ctm...neither helped or changed anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Find a wire diagram start looking for a possible short between 2 wires or bad ground.

I also have the same problem. Checked all the grounds in the vicinity of the left signal light and have replaced the multi function switch and have not managed to fix the problem. Any suggestions?

It dsnt have to be just ground for signal lights. Could be ground on wiper or switch itself.
