I think I found a place for it just below the heating and AC controls and just above the fold down cup holders. If I can get it to fit there I'll just attach it to the dash with some good velcro, I hate sticking stuff to my dash but I think it will look pretty clean. I'll find out Thursday or Friday. I don't like to much stuff in the window, the GPS is plenty lol.

Went ahead and did a highway run last night, reset my MPG before getting on, drove 50 miles and turned around and drove 50 back, when done it read 20.2 MPG. After I install the Trinity I'll do the same exact thing and see what difference if any, hoping for a difference for the better.

I'm a little confused about the Crom files. I loaded the latest DCX_Gas with a 10/13/11 release date but then I look down the list and see one that lists U7164 with a release date of 11/21/11. How do I know which to load into the Trinity? What's the difference in DCX_GAS vs U7164?

Well, been driving most of the night LOL. Here it goes

All interstate driving at 65 MPH with the cruise set, went 50 miles, turned around and drove 50 miles back. I reset the MPG as soon as I engaged the cruise which was at the same point each time I started. MDS is ON.. I know it's the computer's MPG but here it goes.

Stock tune that came on the truck 20.2 MPG
Perf 87 Tune running 89 gas 21.8 MPG
MPG Boost 21.8 MPG

I find it weird that the Perf 87 and the MPG Boost got the same MPG

So there you go, as soon as I dump the 89 gas I have, I'll fill up with 92 and test that tune.

Yeah I dont find the mpg boost tune to be worth it either. In summer i ran the 91 tune and in wwinter I use the 87 tune and find the increase in throttle response is good (87) over the mpg tune which I find less throtttle response but same mileage per tank. So my results are very similar to yours. Not sayin I dont believe you can gain 4mpg but I sure cant lol

Yep, I'm thinking 4MPG may be out of reach, at least for me and it seems yourself. Going to try the 91 tune next when I fill up the next time. Curious to see what that does but I'm not expecting much more in regards to MPG.

I've been trying to figure out a few things on it. I messed with the Throttle Boost and took it all the way to 13.5 but I don't see any difference. What exactly does the Throttle Boost do?

Throttle boost gets rid of some of the lag caused by the fly by wire throttle control vs the old throttle cable. or torque managment if you prefer. try to light up your tires stock then try with throttle boost you`ll see what the differance is. I run at 17.5% boost and I wish I could run at 100 or no tq management at all. I am prepared to accept the cosequenses of my right foots actions
