Default 2010 Ram exhaust

Hello,
Im new here and i have a few questions. I recently purchased a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 ST 2x4. Its a regular cab long box (140" wheelbase) with the 4.7L engine. Ive been lookin around for aftermarket exhausts and havent had much luck. it doesnt have the factory duals either! Anyone have any ideas on a cat back dual system? I was also wondering if a kit for a crew cab would work because im pretty sure they have 140" wheelbase too.

I have a crew cab. I just put a new exhaust system on last week. I like an aggressive sound but hate the sound of open pipes. I liked the Cherry Bomb extreme single in dual out muffler but at idle and low demand it sounded too gargly and hollow(like open pipes). When you got on it though, they screamed and I loved that. I decided to combine a couple components and I absolutely LOVE the sound I've got now. I used a Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler. 3" single in and two 2 1/2" out. About 30" after the muffler, I had them install two 12" x 2 1/2" Cherry Bomb glasspacks. Then piped out the back with stainless 2 1/2" rolled tips with a 40 degree slant. I got a really great, deep aggressive idle and wow, when you get on it, it sounds fantastic!! Sounds different than any system out there. Muffler and glasspacks $110.00. Stainless tips $58.00. Custom install using mandrel bent aluminumized steel pipe. $300.00.I will try to get a link to some video and a couple pictures up here soon.

I dont have a catback but did put on a magnaflow 18" muffler and it sounds really good. Not to loud, just deep and growly.

I would check with your local exhaust shop. If you are looking to keep it cheap just swap the muffler and cut the resinator out. The factory stainless steel is good stuff...i certainly wouldnt throw it away.
