Default Adding EVIC?

Found a totaled truck where the guy is parting out his EVIC, I have read the thread about adding it to the 09 trucks and am curious if there are any things you guys know of that I need to look out for. The other side would be hunting down a steering wheel for the controls but I may hold out for a totaled/parted out 2012 for the guts.

Any input would be appreciated!

One thing that you should be aware of when looking for the cluster is the mileage. If you are able to find one with a few more miles than you have on your truck then you can simply wait until the truck reaches the same mileage then you can swap the cluster.

All of the modifications can be done ahead of time including the steering wheel swap and sales code programming.
