im not sure what my trim package is. i think the first owner ordered the base model and just mixed and matched what he liked out of the different trim packages. it has quad headlights, half cloth half leather seats, center console with shifter on the floor, factory dual exhaust, 20" wheels, ect. but no badging that says its a big horn, or slt, or anything so i dont know.

You have quads so no capping required. You can go plug and play. H11's for lows H10's for fogs.

is it weird that i would rather do HIDs for my highs instead of lows? i will probably do all my lights eventually though.

The problem with doing highs instead of lows is that they are not instant on. So if you want to flash your headlights you will not get much light output. Plus you would have to keep waiting on them to heat up every time you turned them off for a passing car. The best solution is to get some projectors retrofitted in the stock housings that have a cut off shield that drops out of the way with the highs on. That way you get a blast of HID light and halogen too.

the relay harness bring power sources directly from battery to the ballast,(sometimes the flickering is due to the lak of power) and use the lights power sources to turn on or off,... so its a wire kit

it is not always require, it depend on the brand you get

the hidextra one you dont need the harness, just the capacitor,
but if you put them on, it will be one more insurance step to a flaw less system. also their not very expensive but it make the installation a bit longer (maybe 15 minutes mores)

the capacitor is similar to a fuse or a resistance,.. this is used to avoid flickering and the codes like tpms
it plug between the hid light and the hid ballast
so the capacitor, are require regarless of the brand you get, they are normally around 10$ for a pair
