Totally understand this! I have painted a hundred small pieces and parts, and no matter what they always have some kind of flaw. Ironically, some of the better, less flawed ones, were when I didn't take forever preping the area. Those pieces where you know that no one will even notice if it's crappy, they turn out the best! The center pieces that you try and try to get pristine perfect... yeah, no effin way!

Hayden- AWESOME job!

I see we've had the same experiences lol!

The thing I hate most is when you do something careless, like I painted my brothers motorcycle and had the tank hanging and was crouched underneath it spraying the underneath and like an idiot jumped up really fast(legs were sore from crouching so long) and *BAM* my back firmly pressed against the wet paint....lol There goes a couple hours of hard work, back to sanding...

The RE-prep work after messing it up is worse than the ORIGINAL prep work! I've had a few i'm-too-damn-impatient fingerprints on tacky paint... ugh, just upsets me more, and then i'm MORE impatient! haha

does anyone recall seeing a painted mineral gray dodge ram emblem that almost looked as though it was forged into the tail gate? I know that it is somewhere on this website but just can not find it again. I am thinking that i would like to emulate what that member did and would like to thank him/her for the idea.
