Hey Blackout, can you or Bordin chime in with any tips/tricks re: the removal of the vanity hood scoop inserts? I want to pull mine and paint them black so they don't look so bad when/if I accidentally get wax on them.

Thanks in advance.

Just remove the underhood blanket think its like 5-6 clips then the scoops just clip in little push up and boom they are out.

Wow that led mod looks really nice, great job! Do you have all the leds on a switch or do they come on with the headlights? I haven't done to much new to mine just painted the calipers finally, hood stripes, and i ordered leds for my taillights. Next im upgrading all the audio to Jl components and a sub. What about you?

I was going to put the leds in my hood scoops also but I am making the scoops functional by designing an attachment to the hood that goes to the intake. I work at a machine shop and do 3D cad work so they are going to make it for me. Do you know if I add american racing headers if it will void my warranty?

Nope as long as you dont touch the cats and i tried that with my scoops unless you got a cai set up for it its kinda a waste and then you need a water catch or it will all pour down onto your engine and such instead i drilled a 4'' hole in the bottom of my k&n ran a hose down to my bottom bumper with a scoop now thats how you induct air baby lol
