IN2H2O will become famous soon enough

Well, I am up and running again, smoother and quieter than ever in fact. It was hairy for a couple hours there but it all worked out. My issue may even shed some light on what happened to you.

I had fired up my engine and had it idling for about 15 minutes when it started ticking. It only lasted about 5-6 seconds the first time but around the 20 minute mark, it came back and stayed. I stressed for a couple hours while I checked and rechecked everything but finally reassured myself that it was definately a collapsed lifter and took it for a drive. I hadn't gone 100 yards and it pressured up. If you hit a bump or it released suddenly then I guess it could have tossed the lifter easily enough... sound feasible?

sorry its been awhile. yes that does sound feasible. on another note i got my truck all back together. i wasnt able to get air ram heads because of money problems so i went with remanned heads. i also installed the JBA stainless steel shorty headers and i did some other exhaust mods . with my diablo trinity set on gas mileage booster my 0-60 time went from a very bad 14 seconds before the headers and exhaust mods to a very good improvement of 10 seconds. now idk about you but i think that the upgrade was a very wise chose. also when im going 70 mph down the high way my truck is running at about 1650-1750 rpms. when it used to be about 2100 at 70 mph. i love the throttle response that the headers gave me too.
