thanks guys for all the info i have a buddy his dad is a dealer for com cams so he is having cams made for my truck. main reason i am doing to build is for more pulling power we have a couple of boats that i pull from tampa to westpalm and around other places so need more power.

i was going to order a set of cams from the dealership from a 2004 4.7 as i was told the HO cams were in these year motors and the dealership had them ready to ship

I'm pretty sure the HO cams were offered in many different year 4.7L's, so were the "regular" cams. I bet if you order a regular 2004 4.7L cam set you'll get non HO cams.

You should be able to tell from the part numbers. The HO cams are 53021411AB and 53021412AB but have been updated so look for superceded part numbers.

I drug my heals last week on a set of brand new HO's in sealed MOPAR wrappers and the guy sold them to a friend instead.
