over time the throttle cable stretches and gets longer, so to take up the slack you put zip ties behind the gas pedal on the throttle cable

thanks for the reply lopar!! I am looking to add some power to my 98 5.9 just like everyone else... How did you do the crank sensor mod and any suggestions when I do it?? You like the outcome?? What else have you done?? I appreciate any info!!

Lopar, i have a 98 5.9 and i cant seem to locate this crank sensor... Any hints on how to locate it and get it out?? Also, are u still liking the mod?? Thanks man!!

if u have the automatic trans its under the trans dip sitck on the back of the block like wright on top of the bell housing and its a pain in the ass in my op when i replaced mine but i as well am thinking about trying this mod just wish i would have read this post before i changed mine
