Default scratches

A quick question. What is the best way to get out scratches? I work at a Prison and and the people in the Parking lot don't care about your ride, they put stuff on your hood or rub up against it and leave you some really nice scratches. How can I get these out? Thanks for the help

If they arent too deep then your local detailer will be able to buff them out. Thats what I do when i get them. Its worth it to me. My truck has almost 28,000 and you might be able to find 2 scatches on it.

If they are only clear coat scratches thay can easily be buffed out with with a medium cut buffing compound. If the scratatches disappear when you spray water on them they are clear coat scratches.

If it's not real bad you can try and wax it out or use polishing compound gently . If you have to , wet sand with 1000 grit then buff it up .

Yeah, Maguiar's makes a good product for that, swril mark/scratch remover. Works like a charm, that is, so long as they are not too bad and only superficial.

That crap makes me want to smash someone. Sounds like you need to do a billy club stake-out !

My last truck was black so i went through a few brands bewfore finding Nu Finish products; they've worked pretty well for me. (I also bought a crappy little ford escort to drive to work; truck stays on the garage during the week).
