I do know their is a new tsb out that is supposed to help correct this fuel problem. My dealer was telling me about it. I also think someone posted it on the site here somewhere. I'm a waiting. I need to get to the dealer and get this new update. But I am afraid of the dealer. My truck always leaves the dealer looking worse then it went in.

Well try the heavy foot thing for a bit and see if that helps clean something out of her. I was told once upon a time by a dodge engineer," to not baby the hemi, its made to be worked and worked hard and he went on to say you should get on it hard from time to time.". I don't know if that will work, but its always fun.. LOL..

I am in Southern Ontario and it is fairly flat here.
I have had my 11 Sport for 1 yr and have about 20,000 km on it.
I get 16-17 L per 100km normally.
On a recent 3 hr trip on secondary roads running around 100 km/hr I got 13.5 L per 100km.
On the way home I took the highway and went 120-130 km/hr. I got about 15 L per 100km.
I have 3:55 gears.
You should be getting better mileage.
I hope the dealer can correct this for you.

Ok, may be a silly question but what is a "tsb" ?

tsb = technical service bulletin
you should be getting better mileage, however i am only seeing 18 to 19l/100 km right now with winter fuels, idling time etc. last tank I only pulled 578km out of her. Summer time on average I can easily get over 700km per tank. My sport has the 3.92's and am just shy of 37,000km on the clock.

Im averaging around 15.2L/100km but it has been worse since winter. Also I need to drive very conservative to get that number. I don't think it would ever be possible to get what the truck is rated and someone should be suing these companies for false advertisement.

The mileage ratings are given out by Transport Canada here in Canada.
The ratings are to compare vehicles and don't really reflect real world mileage.
I heard Transport Canada puts the vehicles on a chassis dyno inside a building and simulates city and highway driving.
Then they come up with a ridiculous 26 MPG rating.
The EPA in the US uses a more realistic testing method and gets a 20 MPG rating for a Hemi Ram.
