Default Sleeve the cylinders?

About to have the 5.2 engine rebuilt. Having it bored .030 over. My question is, should I have the mechanic bore it bigger and sleeve it? Is there a benefit to doing that, or any disadvantages?

Thanks

For street duty, not for 30 over.

re-sleeving is mostly done in diesel engines

on gas engines not so much
some gas engines have really thick cylinder walls & at 30 over, you may not be too close to the water jacket
other engines at 30 over you are real close to the water jacket

I have seen some chevy engines that were bored to 60 over & the machine shop said it may last one race lap or 100 laps & not to call when it blows
