I couldn't possible disagree with you more. I've had several F250s and this silly little coil sprung ram just yanked 6k# around like it wasn't there. Even with shitty surge brakes on uhauls lucriously heavy trailer, it handled wonderfully. I was VERY impressed.

sethmark, not trying to argue about the load capacity, because I too love the coils on my '12 Ram compared to a lifetime of GM leaf springs. However, your load in that pic with the Jeep looks like it didn't have a lot of tongue weight. I think compared to something like most travel trailers, you'll have more tongue weight which may require some spring assist. Still, I don't see why some are so in love with leaf springs. In my past 1/2 ton leaf spring pickups, I still needed airbags to tow a decent travel trailer for good sag and load control. The nice thing about my Dodge is that I can lower the Airlift bag pressure down to its minimum and get a plusher ride than I got with any past leaf spring setups. The Airlift system is inexpensive and easy to install, and it firms up the rear in an infinitely adjustable manner to handle any load.
