Default Jack location

Ok I bought a used Dodge Ram 1500 ST model a week ago. Today I noticed that I do not have a spare tire and cant find the jack anywhere in the truck. According to the owners manual is it under the passenger seat. The only thing I see is empty space and nothing that looks like the jack should be mounted there. I am looking in the right place?

Yep, you're looking in the right place, it's just not there. Did you buy the truck from a dealer? If so, I'd have them check into that and no spare tire mounted under the bed. I have an ST and have both. Nice looking truck, BTW, congrats!

Mine is under there too, along with the socket that fits our lug nuts

Time to hit the auto recycling yards

yea that is what I was afraid of. I found a couple of jack, lug wrench, kits on ebay for like 10 bucks. See if I can get one of those if the dealership wont help me out.

Will a wheel off a different year Ram 1500 fit my 2009 model? I dont really care if it matches or not, would just like to have a spare.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, any 1500 Ram wheel will fit. They all have the same bolt circle.

Default Was it a Rental?

If it was a rental vehicle it is usually stolen or sold on ebay and or dealer part swap. Sorry
