Default Factory Fender Flares

Hoping you can help.

I've emailed this question using the online contact forms to a couple of Mopar sites (including yours unfortunately) without an answer so I thought I would try here.

I'm looking to purchase a set of the factory wheel flares for my 2009 Ram 1500 CC. Finding the 4 parts is no problem however I just want to be sure of something before I order.

The wheel flares are listed as available either W/body color or W/o body color. I would prefer the body color ones but there is no place when you are ordering to specify the colour you need. Is it just taken from the VIN?

Can you confirm that the wheel flares are actually body colour and if they are how do I specify the ones I need?

Also I believe your dealership is in Westbury NY; I'm 3 minutes from your dealership is it possible to pick up parts there?

Thank you

Hello,

I am sorry no response has been sent previously. Within the past few months site management here has changed leaving forum contact neglected. We are now fully staffed and have dedicated people handling the multiple duties involved in running a website as ours.

Please let me know if you still need information on this inquiry.

Thank you , Benny

Default OEM Fender flares

If you hear anything I'm also interested in a set, I would just love to have one to hold up to the truck. With the 20" tires I'm getting dirt on the side of the truck, but I do not want the larger ones, I wish doge had flared the fenders a little.

I am not associated with the vendor, but I will pass on what I have read elsewhere. The w/body color are smooth and ready to paint, while the w/o body color are slightly textured and meant to be left unpainted black. They don't ask you to specify a paint code because you would need to have them painted locally after you get them.

This is pretty much correct except for the fact that the slightly textured accessory flares can be painted as well. For anyone looking to add flares to their truck the accessory kit is the most cost effective option.

These are the accessory ones listed on our site http://moparonlineparts.com/product_...oducts_id/2691

Thank you , Benny
