There are sure alot of Ram 1500's on the roads these days and alot of them in my work parking lot since I bought mine for Ram to be in the bottom 5. Most of these guys at work traded in Silverado's, Nissan Titans and Toyota Tundra's for these trucks. I really think the J.D. Power needs to re-evaluate!

Hey stang did you even drive one or do any research at all? Why did you buy a Ram if you hate everything about them?

I don't hate everything about them...just the things I listed. Two of my buddies have them, one an 09 and the other a 2010. You are right though, if I would have done some research, I would not have bought this truck. I would have just bought a really nice 2010.

I've had my truck about a year and put 14,000 miles and so far have been very happy! My last truck was a 2008 Tundra and before it had 20k miles my differential went out and both axels crapped out! Not to mention the sinking dash and I had to replace my factory radio twice! RAM FTW!

Agreed. Me and a family member both bought Rams just over a year ago. One has been problem free, the other goes in for work at least once a month. Guess which one is mine. In 14 months, 18000 miles, I have had the rear end rebuilt, trans rebuilt, trans replaced, torque converter replaced, all the weather stripping replaced, new passenger side manual seat and countless little things. I am currently going in frequently for oil consumption tests. When I started pulling my snowmobile trailer this winter I started using a quart every thousand miles. They also cannot figure out why my service 4wd light comes on occasionally or way my muffler keeps coming loose.

Welllll... I had an 03 quad cab traded at 125k miles 07 4x4 mega cab dually 5.9 cummins i put 80k on it and now a 2011 CC hemi not one issue at all ever other than something i may have done cosmeticaly. I have to say these trucks do in fact hold up because i drive the living hell out of my vehicle and have not been disappointed yet! Aside from the way the new hemis are tuned down soo bad.

I really do regret selling my dually tho....

too early for most of us to tell. it's easy for a 2011 owner to say "ha! silly survey, i haven't had any problems!"

let's revisit this in a couple years. i'm happy with my truck and have not had issues but i'd be lying if i said i didn't have my eye on it with a bit of skepticism.

not trying to be negative, if anything i think this is a good attitude to have when buying these things. be realistic and keep an eye on your truck so you can take care of any problems right away instead of having your head in the sand.
