Default What the hell is going on?!?!

Alright can someone tell me what this piece is on the radiator? what is it for?? This is the third time i've blown the rubber peiece off and all my antifreeze goes everywere.....sprayed all over my intake and all over everything,i spent all day today cleaning everything, took the filter off and cleaned it.... Is this suppost to be a valve if the radiator gets to much pressure?? Autozone workers had no clue so i just bought one's that fit to put on it. can someone feel me in?

What you have is an aftermarket radiator with a hookup for another hose. You won't find this on factory radiators.

I'd find some JB Weld and a PCV system plug or cap and cement that sucker closed!

The cap that's on there looks like a vacuum cap to me. They make plugs just for closing off those openings for the older Chevys that used to use that setup. You may want to check a couple of parts stores. You could also try double clamping it.

been there and Randy beat me to it, I just double clamped it (on previous car). But try NAPA they should have the correct plug for it.

Hello- the plug in your picture is for the resevior tank hose to hook from the tank to the radiator, like on a 2002 ram 4.7.

Yep, on my 02 that nipple has a hose coming off of it going to the degas bottle. The 04 has a different set up and I believe a different radiator. You may just have the wrong radiator.
