Default Clearcoat on caliper paint?

Hey all, I painted my calipers yesterday with Dupliclors caliper kit. They look great (pics to come) but I was wondering if I need to put a clearcoat on to seal em better. It was the brush on kit and it seems like they'll chip fairly easy. Seems like it's kinda "soft" for lack of a better term. Maybe after a few days it'll cure a little harder. Anybody have any problems with this? Thanks.

Unless the clear came with the kit, I'd say will likely discolor from heat. There are heat proof clears available, but I would suspect the paint you have has some sort of hardener in it.

Others will chime in, but that's my opinion!
