Default hid problem

i put 10k in my 08 ram with the full harness only problem im having is the capasiter or resister not sure what it is. it gets extremely hot like u cant touch it not sure what is wrong.anyone with imput please help

i left it on the airbox for like 3 min an it melted into it

You have to mount those on metal! They get extremly hot, but it is normal. Also keep away from wiring! I melted my first harness like that lol!

the driverside capasiter /resister melted the wires that are attached to it so now i only have one that is hooked up. every now and then i get a powersurge but they still work fine
