This truck has been nothing but problems since i bought it. I could get the intake off with a dremel and buy a used intake and take the heads to a machine shop to have the bolts drilled out properly. But i have had it with this truck its a money pit with 85K on it its headed for the scrap yard. I already feel stupid for putting as much time and money into this truck when it just keeps letting me down. A Toyota will be replacing it.

Can you take a pic of the intake and rust. Help get a better idea what your working with. It should break free unless were missing something.

My 97 has almost 250,000 miles on it and it has sucked a nice chunk of change out of my pocket, but in the long run it is a good truck and well worth every penny so far. Sometimes you will get all pissy when something doesnt go right but thats the laws of Murphy... if it was any easierThere wouldnt be any laws of Murphy...lol
