Did you change your mind and get the Zeon's instead? They look great...thanks for sharing the pics. How did they do in the snow and / or compare to your Good-For-A-Year HP's that you just took off? Are they really that much noisy?

I'm really starting to like these Zeon LTZ's more and more. I saw the A/T3 in person yesterday. A guy here at work put a set on his Toyota 4 Runner , and they have nice deep treads. Sure looks like Cooper is making a quality tire.

they are very quiet on the highway. we got like 1-2 inches of rain last night. it was very slushy all the way home. I had no problems at all. Stupid MN weather.
I have been searching on the cooper website and I cant even find the ATP's anywhere. I am trying to get more info on this tire.

what 11bighornblue posted was Discoverer ATP's

what I posted was Zeon LTZ's

They are nearly identical tread patterns. The sidewalls appear slightly different as well. I'd GUESS that the Discoverer ATP is a "lighter" tire and has lighter load ratings. Not necessarily a worse tire, but the Zeon has very high load ratings. Most would never need that (I don't).

What's funny is Cooper doesn't even list Discoverer ATP on their site...

Maybe the Discoverer ATP is an older tire that isn't made anymore. If you just got those, check the manufacture date on them. If they are old tires (sat on a shelf for years) I would complain and bitch and moan...I actually think it's illegal to sell old tires. I think walmart got in trouble for doing so a few years back...

Basically the same tire though. I'd guess the Discoverer ATP isn't rated for as heavy loads as the Zeon either just judging from the side wall...

For regular normal people, basically the same tire lol.
your right about the load rating Zeon 119 ATP 115

Only place I can find the ATP is Discount Tire's website.....sure looks a lot like the Zeon LTZ. Glad to hear it worked well. Upstate NY weather is a lot like MN so it's great to hear this.

My understanding is the A/T3 is the latest creation from Cooper. Not sure when the Zeon came out, but clearly the A/T3 doesn't look as nasty aggressive as the Zeon or the ATP. Warranty is clearly better on the ATP, and the speed rating is slightly higher than the Zeon.

Talk about throwing a wrench in the mix....never heard of this one.

0312 is the Third Week in the calendar year 2012 meaning the middle of January 2012. They are still very fresh with a good born on date!!!!! Oh...sorry...That's Budweiser's slogan.

Still....they are new (not old) tires!

LOL. That's good news.

I think I know what's going on here.

Discount tire gets "special" tires from manufacturers. They are the same tires as another tire by the same manufacturer basically, but renamed and to be sold only through discount tire. Sound like that's the case here...
