Depending on how much you want to spend you have a few options:
You can supercharge but that's gonna cost you a pretty penny between the blower, intercooler and installation.
You can also go w/ a cold air intake, high flow exhaust, power programmer. You'll gain some horses this way too.
It really depends on how much you're looking to spend and what you ultimately want to get out of the upgrades. Also keep in mind w/ higher mileage engines you don't want to go to aggressive w/ the power upgrades unless you intend to work the bottom end too.
I'm know there's a few other things you can do to give some extra horses but starting w/ the above really goes a long way. Good luck and keep us posted!
