Default Interior Lights

I'm new to the forum and would like to say hello! I have 2011 Ram 1500 ST 4.7 Quad cab. I was trying to find out some info on installing map lights. Does anyone know if the harness is already there or if I would have to run the wiring myself.
Thanks, Al

Welcome to the forum. The harness needed is not there but it plugs at the same point as your current harness for your overhead light. If you find the overhead console at a salvage yard make sure they take the extra time to pull the wiring harness and mounting bracket for you. The harness goes down the drivers side pillar and ends at a plug under the side dash cover you see when your drivers door is open. Look for a console with homelink if you need that as an extra. Good luck with your mod.
