Well, I got a level put on today. The finished product is just what I wanted, but getting there was a nightmare. I had an 8 am appointment at the dealer to get it done. They told me it would be a 2 hour job, including alignment. At 10 am, when I was hoping they'd be about finished, they finally put it on the lift. They were having problems getting some component to line up properly, so at 12 pm, they decided to take the control arms off. After they did this, it went pretty quickly. Took it off the lift at 1:30 pm. Then they tell me their alignment machine is down. No big deal, I just call the tire shop down the road and make an appointment. After the alignment, the tech comes in and asks me if I know I was missing a nut. After my confused look, he tells me the bolt that ties the strut into the control arm doesn't have a nut on it. By this point, I'm pretty angry. I go back to the dealer, pull right in front of their little kiosk, and have words with the service manager. I couldn't seem to make him understand that what they did was pretty dangerous. His only reply was "Sorry about that, we'll take care of it." Long story short, if my truck breaks down on the service road in front of the dealership, slides out of control into one of their bays and ends up on a lift, I'll call a tow truck to pull it off and take it an extra 60 miles to the next closest dealer. My business with them is done. On a more positive note, really digging the level. Haven't checked for vibration problems yet. Probably will tomorrow. Working on some debadging, then I'll clean it up and get some pics on maybe this wkend. It felt good to vent....Thanks!
