Exclamation Anyone know how to quiet the annoying tick

I have read several threads on people having the annoying HEMI tick, but does anyone have a solution? I just changed my oil from conventional to synthetic and still tick tick tick. Thanks in advance!!!

Its the intake valves opening and shutting, its normal for a vehicle to do that...no real way to quiet it down. I have heard you can clean your intake valves and it will stop temporarily but it will eventually come back.

An article a few years ago stated almost all of the underhood noise of an automobile was the valvetrain. Whatever company they were interviewing was in the process of developing quieter components. It was quite interesting reading, I'll see if I can find it later tonight.

Two solutions.
#1 Ear plugs
#2 Loud stereo to drown out the noise.(chithead knows stereos you could ask him)

what he said ^^^^^^^

I've been trying to figure out what this ticking is that everyone doesn't like. I guess I am either deaf or it's not annoying to me LOL or I guess the 3rd option is that mine doesn't tick

Sounds to me like a run of cams or valves that are a little off......
