Maybe try to burn the mp3 on your USB key to a CD?

I don't know much about it, but i know people have said that they needed to format or reformat the Thumb drive or Stick

If you go to this site, it has all the radios, called MEDIA CENTERS
you just need to know the Sales Code, usually 3 letters found on the Media Centers face in the lower right hand corner
Some radios show a Manual on the right of the page, others don't have it

Pick your radio from the list

I was able to download all of my music to my 2010 just using my usb stick. I just used drag and drop from my iTunes to the stick.
