Default Locked Up Reat Wheel

Hello,
Can anyone please help me out here. I have a 1994 Dodge RAM and my passengers side rear wheel is locked up and wont move. The rear brakes were making some noise, like grinding metal on metal. I have drums in the back and I figured the shoes are shot. I jacked up the truck and tried getting the drum off. no deal, so I tried backing off the adjustment wheel to loosen the shoes. The wheel moved just a little bit then stopped moving all together and the wheel would not move at all.
Can anyone tell me which way I should be turning the wheel to loosen the shoes. I had a metal wire in there to hold back the lock on the adjustment wheel I think. I cant find any detailed pictures online so I am not sure if I am pushing on the arm and turning the wheel the right way. So if anyone can tell me which way I should try turning the wheel on the passengers side specifically I would greatly appreciate it. And if you have any suggestions on how to get this drum off that would be great too. The drum looks to be the 13" one and I dont have a gear puller big enough.

Thanks

The star wheel on the adjuster should spin the opposite way of the clicking to loosen it.

someone may have a better idea, but worse comes to worse, u could undo the bolts hoding the drum backing plate and drop out the c-clip in the diff and slide it all out and get replacements from the junkyard

The drum is probably rusted to the axle. I deal with it on a daily basis. Since I'm guessing you don't have an air hammer, get a decent sized hammer and hit the drum between the wheel studs a few good times to get it to free up.
